Theresa Morgan

Fill In Host for “Stand Up For Love” and “The Power Hour”

"Stand Up For Love" - Sundays 5am - 3pm

"The Power Hour" – Sundays 5pm – 6pm

"Everyday when I’m out in the community working my main job, I know and understand that I’m influencing other people’s lives. It matters greatly to me when I’m filling in either during "Stand Up For Love" or the "Power Hour", that I have the opportunity to be a positive influence through music in someone’s life or situation. I don’t take that opportunity lightly and respect it greatly. Our community is in great need of new and innovated thoughts/ideas which makes 1290 WMCS a wonderful starting point for that dialog to occur".

Did You Know

Theresa has been in the communications field for over 20 years and she still loves it.  She graduated from Marquette University with a BA in Broadcast Production/Communication with a Sociology Minor.  She currently owns her own entertainment company called, Sound House Entertainment LLC “The House that Talent Built”. She specializes in audio, video, photography, event planning, artist development and installation work.  She has been a member of New Covenant Baptist Church for 30 years under the leadership of Dr. F.L. Crouther since its inception. She loves working with her church family and working in the Media, Scholarship, VBS and Youth ministries.  She also enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

"As I grow older, time is the most valuable thing to me and using it wisely. One of my favorite trips was to the Grand Canyon; it was breathtaking to be in the stillness of something so beautiful. I went on the one year anniversary of September 11, which made it even more powerful to behold as the Air Force fighter jets did a security fly over.

I truly believe we are all here to be of assistance to each other and it’s our responsibility to be dutiful in being a help not a hinder. The Golden Rule is truly in action for me daily. I’m thankful for the awards and recognition I have received over the years, but I’m the type to keep on pushing and working while allowing my actions to speak for me. If I can influence a life and help someone to be better, then I’ve done what He desires of me.
